WHO WE ARE:

Western CDL is a private training facility dedicated to helping individuals enhance their driving skills to secure better employment opportunities by obtaining a commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Unlike traditional CDL schools & higher education institutions, our in-person behind-the-wheel training sessions are one-on-one and our classroom time, including the mandatory ELDT theory courses, is completed online from your home on any device that has internet access.

We are registered with FMCSA as an approved Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) provider, and we cover everything needed to fulfill the mandatory ELDT requirements.

We are focused on helping prepare you to competently pass your CDL skills & road test. The duration needed to achieve competence varies with each individual. For example, an experienced farm endorsement holder may only need as little as three in-person hours. However, those with minimal driving experience may require the more typical 12-15 in-person hours. We encourage you to practice your driving skills with your employer or a licensed friend/family member on your own time.

Our training sessions are from 9:00-12:00 on a day that is convenient for you, so you don't need to quit your job, and your training will continue until you have shown proficiency and are ready to take the CDL skills & road test that will be administered by a third-party examiner.

**Please note: the in-person hours do not include the time you will need to spend completing the ELDT theory courses and watching our pre-trip and backing videos.
